Hi. My name is Chris.

I got my start in editorial photography in 2000, shooting and writing for a wide variety of publications, including Texas Home and Living, Austin Monthly, Palm Springs Life, and The Boston Phoenix.

In 2007, after getting my M.A. from UT Austin, I began shooting weddings, portraits and special events at the request of some friends, who then told their friends, and whose friends told even more friends.

My favorite part of photography is the people I work with.  From the first phone call to the final prints, I love getting to know the people in the pictures, capturing the special moments in their lives that they would have otherwise forgotten.
